In celebration of American Heart Month, we’re delighted to share Elena’s incredible story. Elena was diagnosed in utero with Tetralogy of Fallot – a rare congenital heart defect requiring complex surgery for survival. Her parents, Tara and Ben, share their journey at Packard Children’s, and their care team describes the multidisciplinary care that enabled Elena to grow into the healthy, happy one-year-old that she is today.
