10 Ways to Support Our Patients This Holiday Season

We are very fortunate to have so many generous donors, especially during the holiday season. Whether you donate, fundraise, or shop to give, every effort makes a big difference for kids like Giselle. Last month, she received the best news ever: she’s finally cancer free! But she won’t stop fighting until all her friends are healed. Inspired by donors who supported her, Giselle collected toys and raised nearly $5,000 for cancer research and “medicine that doesn’t hurt.” If you are inspired by Giselle and would like to give yourself here are some ways that you can support the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health.

1. Donate online: Give $25 today and your gift will be doubled by the Keith and Pamela Fox Family Foundation!

3. Join the Virtual Toy Drive: Looking for a way to celebrate the holidays with Packard Children’s? Join our Virtual Toy Drive and bring the magic of the season to our patients and their families!
4. Buy a Packard Children’s bear: Buy a Packard Children’s bear from Bears for Humanity and one bear will be given to a patient at our hospital! Plus 20 percent of the proceeds will be donated to our hospital.
5. Order from Asian Box Catering: Planning your holiday party? Let Asian Box help! Three percent of all catering orders will be donated to our hospital.
6. Mazda Drive for Good: Are you in the market for a new car? Head over to a Mazda dealership for the Mazda Drive for Good event! From now through January 3, Mazda will donate $150 to a local charity (like our hospital) for every new Mazda leased or sold.
7. Visit our Hospital Gift Shop: Baby clothes, toys, and beautiful jewelry–our hospital Gift Shop has gifts for the entire family and all the proceeds benefit the hospital! Check our December sales on the events calendar.
8. Shop Kohl’s Cares: All proceeds from select Kohl’s Cares books and toys at local Kohl’s stores benefit the Kohl’s Child Safety and Outreach Program at our hospital.
